Last Saturday, while casually talking to my maid and her daughter, both of whom work at my place, the daughter happened to mention how her mother gets a little bored in the evenings while all the children are generally occupied with their mobiles and so how they plan to buy a TV soon. Hearing this I just went ahead and put up a post on the Just Swap group asking if anyone had a TV to give away at a nominal price without expecting much.
Was pleasantly surprised when a gentleman pinged me offering to give away his TV for free! Even my maid could not believe her luck when I mentioned to her that I had put up such a post and a kind-hearted soul had actually responded! The very next day they went ahead and collected it and were extremely grateful for this unexpected show of kindness.
